Strategic Urban Design

Neuronic London

For the first time in history more than 50% of the world population is living in cities. In 2050 it will be over 75%. According to the same statistics, London’s population is growing at a pace of + 6 inhabitants per hour.

Neuronic London is an attempt to tackle negative externalities relating to rampant urban growth within the M25.

Like neurons linked to each other through synaptic connections London’s sub-centres are reactivated by tangible and intangible networks.

A self-sustaining pattern of growth emerges allowing the city to expand and densify itself gradually.
